Melody instrument wanted for folk rock/ceilidh band

Melody instrument wanted for folk rock/ceilidh band

We're looking for another melody instrument to join our line-up of bass/melodeon, drums, mandolin and guitar/banjo/vocals.

As well as our ceilidh set of traditional English/Irish/American tunes we play a mix of original songs and also covers by Steve Earle, Waterboys, Shooglenifty, Lonnie Donegan,Pogues etc. A bit of country, skiffle, blues and whatever sounds good. We're preparing for 2018 festival gigs. We're all mature musicians with family commitments so 1-3 gigs per month is what we're looking at.

We rehearse on Thursdays fortnightly in a lovely venue just outside Ilminster.

Please get in touch if this is of interest. Email Jon or telephone 07817 899 987
